eBay What To Sell and How To Sell It

Ok, let’s cut to the chase. I started this blog back in 2006 to help others learn how to earn money selling on eBay. You can still find many great posts on how to sell things and many niche ideas on what to sell but I’m going to start focusing this blog towards smarter ways to earn money from eBay - without selling stuff.

I don’t sell things on eBay anymore but I still earn anywhere from $500 - $1000 a month from eBay. And that’s putting in about an hour or two a month of my time.

A little background: I started making money online from selling on eBay - this was back in 1999. Back then it was an extremely easy way to make extra money from selling my old stuff or other peoples old stuff. I could go to the weekend yard sale or the local thrift store and easily find several items to flip on eBay and make a nifty profit. Even during the holiday season I could go to Ross or TJ Maxx and buy designer brand clothes and turn around and make at least a $10 profit on each item on eBay. But, I spent a lot of time driving around to different stores, spending my own cash up front, taking photos, writing ads, taking more photos, finding boxes, packaging items, driving to the post office, waiting in line….. it took up a lot of my time.

While this still may be fun and profitable in some niche areas for some people it’s not as easy to do any more (since everybody knows about eBay) and it also consumes a lot of time. Having said that, I know there’s still many savvy sellers out there making a good part time and even full time income from eBay.

But because I’m lazy or maybe I just don’t want to spend all my time working I’ve found an easier (much easier) way to make money from eBay -without selling stuff. That’s right. No more packages, no more photos to take, no more trips to the post office. And I still earn $500 - $1000 per month.
